Bug Description

Battery is fine, booting from battery I can last 6+ hours
Used gconf-editor to set "action on critical" to "nothing" but it still hibernates every time AC power is removed
Battery charge indicator and time remaining calculator appear accurate
If I allow it to hibernate, then resume, it will continue to operate on battery normally

Removal of the AC power cord will cause my older HP Laptop to go into hibernation even when the battery is fully charged.
