Screensaver doesn't run if a menu is visible

Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver
If you leave any menu open the screensaver will not kick in. You can verify this by setting the timeout to 1 minute and then opening the Applications menu and waiting.
Further more there is a second part to this bug. When you do come back to your PC and close the menu then the screensaver does fadse in, even if you are wiggling the mouse you must wait for it to fade out and then wiggle again to get the screen back.
I would say this could also be a security bug as you will not be logged out when you think you would automatically be so.
