gnome-screenshot does not seem to be able to capture librecad's file/edit menus

Bug Description

Catches everything else on the screen, but the "file" menu, obtainable by clicking on "file" is missing. Screenshot attached (with arrow pointing to what's missing).

gnome-screenshot -d 5
seems to allow these to be captured, at least in xfce in wily werewolf / gnome-screenshot 3.16.2-0ubuntu2

Menus are not captured when using the -w flag to capture only the active window, even if I set a delay of e.g. 5 seconds. That is, the following command does not include an open menu:
gnome-screenshot -w -d 5
