Gnome 3.36 Ubuntu 20.04 workspace changing using a combo of 4 finger gesture and hotcorner kinda bugged

The workspace sliding and the overview closing are separate animations that can occur in parallel. I think you're just seeing a mixture of them when you close the overview mid-animation.

Yeah. But this problem did not exist in the previous version of Ubuntu. It
is causing a visual glitch as well as a functional problem, i.e when I
4-finger swipe down and before the mid animation of changing workspace if
close the overview, the workspace does not change which feels very
unnatural.
