Bug Description

When run from the command line, I see this warning:

Gs-WARNING **: Failed to create permission org.freedesktop.packagekit.trigger-offline-update: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Error.Failed: Action org.freedesktop.packagekit.trigger-offline-update is not registered

I'm not getting the error when running from command line, but I see the errors in my syslog.

Running 16.04 (gnome-software 3.20.1+git20160617.1.0440874.ubuntu-xenial-0ubuntu1~16.04.1)

I got the same error.

Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS

When launching gnome-software in a terminal:

- As normal user: no error
- As root got the error (7 times)

cyrille@cyrille-W740SU:~$ sudo gnome-software

And at the same time, when gnome-software (laucnhed as root) is displaying, in /var/log/syslog:

org.freedesktop.secrets[8717]: ** (gnome-keyring-daemon:8735): WARNING **: couldn't create socket directory: /home/cyrille/.cache/keyring-HPVCNY: Permission non accordée
