Comment 8 for bug 292016

Everyone who has this printer please either upgrade to Ubuntu 9.04 or test the newer gutenprint 5.2.2 package from http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_driver.cgi?driver=gutenprint if you are using Ubuntu 8.04 or Ubuntu 8.10.

If you still experience problems with the newer gutenprint please provide your cups error_log as described here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems#cupserrorlog

If you are using Ubuntu 9.04 please open a terminal and run the following command as it will automatically gather useful debugging information:
apport-collect 292016

For Ubuntu 8.04, please attach the output of the printingbuginfo script https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PrintingBugInfoScript to this bug report.
