Bug Description

Binary package hint: hamster-applet

the new hamster-applet uses command line "hamster-time-tracker toggle" to drop down the panel window. unluckily it only gets the focus the first time.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Start gnome
2. Make sure the <Super>-H key is associated with the hamster applet
3. press <Super>-H. As we can see the "Activity" text box has the focus now
4. press <Super>-H twice more. Now the drop down disappears and reappears
Expected behavior:
the Activity text box has the focus again
Actual behavior:
No the focus is where it was.

I can confirm this with the ubuntu package, but I can't reproduce this with the latest hamster code.
It might be a packaging bug, or it was already fixed.

The Bug is still present in 12.10. However if you type "hamster-time-tracker toggle" from xterm it gets focus. So a workaround would be to bind Super-H (or whatever) to

   xterm -e hamster-time-tracker toggle

Little downside: there is a short flickering of the xterm as it opens and closes
