Bug Description

Binary package hint: human-theme

This was originally reported in bug #345410: "Progress bars (think the one in Totem, or the volume control) no longer show one side coloured like they used to".

Murrine developer Andrea Cimitan suggested the following, and I confirm it works: add

GtkScale::trough-side-details = 1

in the Human gtkrc

If I understand this correctly, you are saying that the progress bars *should* only have a line on one side?

The murrine engine in Jaunty was recently updated in order to remove the selection highlight which only had a fill and a line on the bottom.

Sorry, I probably didn't expain myself.

You know how, if you watched a movie in Totem and you were halfway through it, the part of the progress bar that was to the left of the slider was orange, and the part to the right was grey? The problem since murrine was updated is that the part that used to be orange is now grey too.

I commented that on bug #345410, and Andrea Cimitan said this should be added to the Human gtkrc:

GtkScale::trough-side-details = 1

Could this please be fixed before the final release? Solving it is trivial, and it would be a shame to let it slip into Jaunty final.

Adding GtkScale::trough-side-details = 1 does not change the behaviour you mention. Have you tested it? Can you include screenshots?

Sure, I'm attaching a screenshot both before and after changing it. Also, the modified gtkrc file.
