Inkscape crashes when File->Document Preferences is clicked

Binary package hint: inkscape

When run from konsole, inkscape sends up a dialog box with -" Inkscape encountered an internal error and will close now." And in konsole " terminate called after throwing an instance of 'Gtk::IconThemeError' ".

I'm guessing this is about an icon set that Kubuntu has not installed.
