This is the result of upstream KDE reverting a change 1st made on 5.27.11 in how the GTK scaling factor is calculated. The now current method (from this update) remains the default all the way up to the latest plasma 6.3. These kinds of changes are always going to have cases where some people are negatively affected. Sorry that this seems to be the case here.
We will actively monitor any further reports/ comments/ bugs etc, to decide the best overall course of action to take here.
