launching kate 3.0.3 from plasma icon or konqueror gives a warning message on exit (KDE 4.0.3, Kubuntu 8.04)

Bug Description

Hi,
I have a problem when launching kate from a plasma icon (or menu) and from konqueror (file association). Kate behaves ok during file editing, but when I close kate it gives a warning message:

Sorry - Konqueror (or Plasma Workspace)
KDEInit could not launch '/usr/lib/kde4/bin/kate'.

It is strange because the message pops up always when I close kate. It does not happen when I run kate from the console or Alt+F2.

Well, sometimes during kate editing, a warning message pops up with the message:

KLauncher could not be reached via D-Bus, error when calling start_service_by_desktop_path: empty
