When sending mail with Kmail, address auto-completion does not work from the local Akonadi Personal Contacts database.

Same problem persists.
Kubuntu 12.10 64-bit fresh install, upgraded to KDE 4.9.5 from kubuntu-ppa-backports

I deleted my former address book and set up a new (both CardDAV ones).
Now autocompletion only works with addresses from recently sent messages, not with address book entries.

My system:
ubuntu 14.04
unity desktop
4GB RAM
Kontact 4.14.2
