Virtual machine detection failing when having QEMU as sys_vendor

This bug also seems to be affecting Google as a vendor as well:

Looking at broker.log the vm-info field is empty:
               'vm-info': ''}],

# cat /sys/class/dmi/id/sys_vendor
Google
