gnome crash when appindicator app exits

I'm not sure if this is a bug. I would like to make a question but it's unavailale.

I'm making a facade to appindicator.Indicator class to implement easy functinos like show() or hide(). You can see my tests in that snippet:

I use the timeout to help reproduce the problem. When the program exits with hidden menu everything it's ok. But if the menu is displayed, and main_quit() is executed the desktop breaks. Gnome frozen. I only fix it restarting lightdm daemon.
