Here you have the screenshots I took in my latop.

My dpi setting is 106 (it was changed automatically from 96 when I migrated to Jaunty).

The dpyinfo command says this about my screen:

screen #0:
  dimensions: 1024x768 pixels (246x185 millimeters)
  resolution: 106x105 dots per inch

If you need more information about dpyinfo tell me it and I will include its full output.
