Bug Description
In Kubuntu 8.04, everything worked fine. I plugged in my Camera and I could immediately open it as a folder. In Kubuntu 8.10, I can see my camera in PTP mode (but cannot open the folder), and in normal mode, I cannot even see the camera.
I ran this (in PTP mode): env LANG=C gphoto2 --debug --debug-
And it took a picture, but failed to save it. The file my-logfile.txt is attached. This MAY be related to Bug #228154, but the patch does not change anything for my camera Canon EOS 350D
Thanks for your help.

This is definitely a bug, but I think it's more than a problem with libgphoto2, can someone please tell me where this bug report should be reported. Here is some more information:
-I did get my camera to work using DigiKam, but I am not notified when I plug in my camera (as I was with 8.04).
-The device notifier never sees the camera.
-Most interestingly, if I open "camera:/" with Dolphin, it sees my camera, but I click on the folder and it opens another folder with another folder "Canon EOS 350D". If I open this folder, the same thing happens until I am looking at this path: //Canon% 20Digital% 20Rebel% 20XT%20% 28normal% 20mode% 29@/Canon EOS 350D/Canon EOS 350D/Canon EOS 350D/Canon EOS 350D

I used to be able to open my camera like a folder, but no longer can.
