Bug Description
I get an authentication timeout with ath5k when using WEP authentication. Without any authentication and with WPA(2) it works great.
Tested with an Acer Aspire One and a Linksys WRT54G.

I have the same error apparently on a EeePC 702 with ath5k and a Trendnet router. The only difference is that with no authentication it doesn't work as well, only WPA is working.
