nouveau driver fails to render one scan line

Bug Description
One scan line is missing in the center of the screen on my system. This occurred when I upgraded to 11.04. I was able to work around this by adding the 3D option:
System, Administration, Additional Drivers,and selected the experimental support for nvidia 3G cards.
From lspci:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 MX 440] (rev a3)
The problem can be seen in any application and scroll the screen. This includes pictures, anything.
