Bug Description

I use 64 bit Ubuntu but run LXDE as my desktop environment. I installed xfce4-power-manager to show the status of my UPS. It worked great until I installed the 4.4.0-34 kernel. Now the power icons don't show, and if I try to start the program manually, I get a popup saying that communication can't be established.

Rolling back to 4.4.0-31 fixed it, so staying there for now.

It's less straightforward than I thought at first. Sometimes it works on the new kernel.
