Bug Description

What i expect to happen:
use touchpad as mouse input device

what happend instead:
the touchpad does not register any input anymore (did work fine before) and doesn't show up in devices

General Information:

- the laptop model is the "Fujitsu Lifebook U9310X"

- i don't know the manufacturer of the touchpad. I remember not finding anything labeled "touchpad" in "/proc/bus/input/devices" but at that time it worked. I think there was something labeled "3 button" or something like that, but i don't remember correctly

- the problem first appeared around end of January i think, but i am not certain about that because if use my notebook mostly docked at the moment with a mouse connected. It certainly did work until around Christmas last 2021. I waited a while for it to maybe get resolved with a patch until now the problem persists.

Ubuntu Version:
Description: Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS
Release: 20.04

not quite sure which package/version i should put here.

I added the output of "cat /proc/bus/input/devices > ~/devices" to this bug.

If further informations are needed i will gladly help.

I really hope someone can help here,
best regards aletschius
