Before two days ,I updated to kernel 3.8.0-5-generic and restarted my computer, got a tv grains like screen instead of login screen.
Splash is displaying correctly. Yesterday i updated to 3.8.0-6-generic still the same problem, and now kernel is 3.8.0-7-generic. I am reporting this bug using ssh from my friends computer.
I booted into recovery mode without any problem. but when startx is executed, got a blank screen no display
Problem occurred in dell studio 1555.
