Arch Linux now has the 3.9.4 kernel. I think that Arch linux use the mainline kernel and only 3 patches are applied. https://www.archlinux.org/packages/?name=linux

The resume from suspend works flawlessly . Same laptop (I have dual boot Ubuntu and Arch Linux).
