Touch screen works but touchpad doesn't

cat /proc/bus/
I used the above command and my touchpad wasn't displayed at all, everything else was, keyboard, touchscreen, hdmi, pc cam, etc...
It was working the other day I shut it down and when I started it back up it's unresponsive clicking doesn't work and mouse isn't displayed.
