Please try latest v4.3-rc kernel. If the problem persists, please add drm.debug=14 module parameter, and attach the dmesg. Please do not add ioctl debugging, it's too verbose, and without that you don't need to compress the logs. Thanks.

It complained about missing firmware during installation:

Serhiy Zahoriya, the issue you are reporting is an upstream one. Could you please report this problem following the instructions verbatim at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/kernel to the appropriate venue (Daniel Vetter and Jani Nikula, CC intel-gfx)?

Please provide a direct URL to your newly made report when it becomes available so that it may be tracked.

Thank you for your understanding.

stefan, did you have a reliable way of triggering it? For me it's still present on 4.3-rc7, though it became harder to trigger just by using KDE for several hours. But it's still triggers always after loading a latest version of Don't Starve Together game (uses OpenGL). Also I tried Phoronix gputest, and it didn't trigger this.

Hi,

it happened every time I switch from X to text console, or after a while when I start a new video in kodi. The message disappeared after updating to kernel 4.3-rc7.
