Bug Description
CIFS GCM256 encryption is implemented in stable kernels beginning with v5.10.y. These commits are required to support GCM256 in linux v5.8:
45a4546c6167a2d
63ca5656350a9b7
fd08f2dbf0c2e95
511ac89e591ab9a
29e279230413cdd
fbfd0b46afa9a8b
119e489681f769e
Risk of regression is quite low in the normal use case. GCM256 is not enabled unless a module parameter (require_gcm_256=y) or (enable_gcm_256=y) are specified at module load time.
