Bug Description

Hi,

After a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 I'm unable to boot with kernel 5.15.0.50

Normal boot on 5.15.0.50 : stuck at boot with the following message :
INFO: task gpu-manager:749 blocked for more than XXX seconds

I deactivated the silent splash screen on Grub to get more details about what's wrong :

"a start job is running for Detect the available GPU..."

Recovery mode on 5.15.0.50: I can boot but after login only integrated monitor is working

Normal boot on 5.15.0.43: No issue

Configuration: Alienware 15R3 Nvidia GTX 1080 Mobile + Integrated Intel GPU

Nvidia drivers: 515

What I'v done so far :

-Deactivated gpu-manager in grub: no effect
-Uninstall intel-microcode or downgraded intel-microcode : no effect
-Tried various nvidia drivers: no effect
-Tried other external monitors: no effect

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Libera.chat.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1993352/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.
