I have Ubuntu 8.04 installed and I noticed that multicard reader with kernel 2.6.24-19-generic do NOT recognize and mount my SD and Compact Flash cards.
I rebooted the machine with the previous kernel 2.6.24-16-generic and multicard reader now mounts my SD cards. It's a problem related to kernel from 2.6.24-16 to 2.6.24-19 or another strange configuration error?
I looked to kernel logs and I notice that with kernel 2.6.24-19 nothing happens when I insert the SD card but the USB hub integrated with the multicard reader works correctly.
