Task Bar does not update

Bug Description

When I open or close a window, the task bar on the bottom of the screen will not be updated (e.g. the entry of a closed window stilll exists). If I right click onto the entry of an already closed window and choose "Wiederherstellen" the task bar shortly dissappears and reappears with the right entries.

I am using Lubuntu 11.10 64-Bit

Ubuntu 11.10 (oneiric) reached end-of-life on May 9, 2013.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is still present in the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here telling us which new version it is in.
