Bug Description
I wish that I could give more proper recreation steps but this is also, I believe, a random thing (Maybe related to if a screensaver is using sound or not? you be the judge...)
On a laptop with an analog soundcard and a hdmi cable plugged in and redirecting audio via it's hdmi interface, when playing a video and increasing the volume beyond 100% (under MATE menu -> sound -> output volume -> MAXIMUM!), and with the screensaver-extra packages installed and the screensaver set to RANDOM, it sometimes happen that upon shaking up the mouse from the cursor mode back onto the desktop that the output volume range will have gone from MAXIMUM back to 100%.
