kdegames and other meta are gone

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

after months of nothing i need to revive this ticket:

the debian package there: https://packages.debian.org/sid/kdegames does have a newer version and is okay

the ubuntu package https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/meta-kde there is broken since 2015-01-20
AND two releases does not fix that.

while splitting the package up and making it different from debian,
<email address hidden> did remove many maybe needed meta packages
and even after some message didn't fixed that yet

so the way would be either revert the change and make it like the debian package, or make it working with the change, but the current status can not go after many months passing

Why would anyone believe that kubuntu metapackages are enough? 0_o
kubuntu metapackage includes it's customizations that will change boot screen...etc.
we need kde metapackages without kubuntu customizations!

I subscribed Jonathan Riddell to this bug report, hope there's some explanation for the removals

Has there been any movement on this? The meta packages are needed
