Bug Description

Binary package hint: mono-xbuild

I'm a Linux 90% noob, trying to get more and more acquainted. So far, so good; only a coupla hiccups here and there, nothing serious, and mostly solved by googling 'round.

I'm on Ubuntu 10.04, upgraded from 9.10, upgraded from 9.04 (first installed Sep-09).

I had installed official Mono (need more Basic than C, sorry!), but wanted to be on the latest possible "stable" version instead of the (normally older) official repo.
I added the repo at "http://badgerports.org". I got notified by the Update Manager that there are updates for Mono. This is the first time I upgraded my Mono install from that repo; I had re-installed my Mono from them manually. I accepted the upgrades.

After downloading and installing, the script spitted the following error:

package mono-xsp2 2.6.5-1~dhx1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

The terminal session is now long gone. I KNOW I shoulda have copied it to paste here, don't even know (but I do think that) you're not supposed to help with third-party repos. Sorry, and feel free to vanish this report if that is the case.

Thanks,
zxMarce.
