network-manager-applet (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

If I click the "Enable Networking" or "Enable Wireless" menu items, nothing happens. The computer stays connected to any networks and the menu items still have check marks.

Related to bug #824998 and bug #1059529 - this gives me unavoidable popup dialog spam.

Hmm. Do you have multiple user accounts on your system? Are you logged in to an account other than the initial one?
