Bug Description
When trying to use nm-applet to choose a network, clicking on the arrow makes the menu appear, but as soon as you move your mouse over the menu and it gains focus, it gives you about half a second max before disappearing, making it essentially impossible to use.
As a workaround, click on the menu but don't allow the mouse to hover over the menu. Use the keyboard keys to navigate the highlight along the menu and select the option you need.
