Bug Description
Binary package hint: nicotine
I do not have a lot more info, i am sorry. This is the crash i am getting. It happens often after starting up N+, using the icon or by using the monitor option. There are 2 issues that happen often:
This one:
The program 'nicotine.py' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadLength? (poly request too large or internal Xlib length erro'. (Details: serial 221337 error_code 16 request_code 2 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Or this one:
nicotine.py: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0
Using N+ 1.2.12 svn on jaunty beta 1.
Question: Which resource is needed for N+ to work properly with X server?
That would help a lot in finding my solution against these crashes.
