Bug Description

Terminating an instance results in a traceback which appears to be related to changes introduced in 2011.3-0ubuntu5 debian/patches/backport-libvirt-console-pipe.patch. It seems nova cannot clean up the instance console log upon termination. Should note that a seperate filesystem is mounted at /var/lib/nova with proper subdirectories and permissions. Images are stored, cloned and instances spawned fine. After traceback in logs, instances remain in the running state and cannot be terminated and removed from the nova database.
