Opening any Import dialogue and then closing it (by pressing Cancel / Open) seems to have the same effect.

The same in 0.7.3 from git source - all these dialogs do the same for me when executing as a simple user. But when I log in as a root, no closing-window freezeing appears!

Please check it yourselves too.

Hm, on a different machine (current one) I don't have such problem at all.

Yes, I have this problem. Dismissing any dialog freezes ocrfeeder. However, sudo ocrfeeder and I don't have this problem.
