Bug Description

When camera is plugged into USB port OpenShot recognizes it but when you try to download images it says other application has the device open. When I go to places I see the camera is mounted. If I unmount it then restart Openshot, then it can access it. This is a pain in the ass to put it mildly.

Hi Robert,
can you tell us which camera you use?
perhabs now you can try it with a new version of libusb.
what you either can do is to send us the output of lsusb in the terminal.

It is a Cannon EOS 20D.  I don't know anything about libusb, where
to get the newest version, etc, I am using Ubuntu 20.10.

What I have discovered is that Ubuntu is automatically mounting
the camera as a file system.  If I unmount it, THEN re-open openshot,
then it works.

So the secret is probably figuring out how to tell the OS NOT to
automagically mount the camera.
