Bug Description

update-grub failed to produce inclusive boot menu. boot repair failed to fix the error.

update-grub fails to find linux system bug at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1026358

attempted t report this bug using apport but it failed, see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apport/+bug/1026363
