Bug Description
This happens unexpectedly. There is no pattern that I can discern. Sometimes, it can appear during system startup, sometimes while I'm browsing the internet, sometimes when I'm working in text editors... Yet, when I later start synaptic or apper they appear to be unaffected by the packagekit crash.
I'm on Kubuntu 13.10 64bit.
