Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

When I receive a message with an embedded image pidgin asks whether I accept a direct connection to the buddy.

But there is a little bug if I drag and drop an image onto a conversation and choose to send it as a message. No question about direct connection pops up and an error gets thrown.

I would have to first connect and then send the image. IMO there should simply be the same question as when receiving.

Hi, thanks for the report. Is this still an issue in Hardy up-to-date? Have you tried Intrepid?

Still an issue in Intrepid. You can drag it just fine, but when you send it, it just tells you need to be direct connected, instead of just doing it for you or prompting for it.
