Bug Description
In the Ubuntu Software Center, I clicked on the "Remove" button for the postgresql package, and while it was in progress, I clicked on the "Remove" button for pgAdmin III. Then I got here.
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04
Package: postgresql-9.1 9.1.3-2
ProcVersionSign
Uname: Linux 3.2.0-24-generic x86_64
ApportVersion: 2.0.1-0ubuntu7
Architecture: amd64
Date: Thu May 24 14:12:07 2012
ErrorMessage: subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release amd64 (20120425)
SourcePackage: postgresql-9.1
Title: package postgresql-9.1 9.1.3-2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed pre-removal script returned error exit status 1
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Looks like a local misconfiguration:
* Error: Invalid line 59 in /etc/postgresql /9.1/main/ postgresql. conf: »listen_addresses = 'localhost','*' # what IP address(es) to listen on;
However, it should probably ignore such a failure on removal.
