unable to install python-minimal during upgrade 13.10 to 14.04

Bug Description

Upgrade from Ubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 unsucessfull because of the indicated error message which python-minimal gives out while installing. I have sucessfully installed python 2.7.6, python3.3 and python3.4 but I found myself unable to install python-minimal.

I completely reinstalled Ubuntu 14.04 Beta 1 and it appears to my that python-minimal exist now in version 2.7.6-7.
