qreator doesn't show any QR code, but many errors on stderr

Bug Description

Reproduce the problem:

1. Start qreator in the terminal (I used xfce4-terminal on xUbuntu 22.04)
2. Select URL for the new QR code to generate
3. Enter a URL, like "example.com"

Nothing happens in the GUI.
It is not possible to save anything or set anything.

In the shell, many errors are shown (see attached log of `qreator &> qreator_log.txt`)

In fact: the program is unusable in that state.
