This is on arm but the crash happens in XCB plugin. Are these cases of someone trying to run Qt with the X backend on a phone without X server?

An individual instance of the crash might provide more information e.g.

Right, so that is indeed calling qmlscene without defining to use Mir plugin.

The crash technically happens but Qt also outputs "unable to open X" or something like that.

It'd be nice if Qt wouldn't actually crash but just have a friendly output.
