- Download snap "lxd" (16922) from channel "4.0/stable/ubuntu-20.04" (received an unexpected http response code (408) when trying to download https://api.snapcraft.io/api/v1/snaps/download/J60k4JY0HppjwOjW8dZdYc8obXKxujRu_16922.snap)

So this is a store failure causing snapd to fail the download.

Maybe snapd ought to attempt a few retries for such errors?
