Can't install snap d on LTD 22.04

Bug Description

After multiple attempts to get snap working, I did a complete purge and reinstall on Ubuntu 22. On install I get the following error:

 sudo apt install snapd

I've been round the houses with this and it seems to be something to do with snap seed timeout, but I can't see anything on the forum that has helped me with this.
