Bug Description

Empathy is not able to list the correct chat rooms in the "Join Room" dialog. Every time it shows the chat rooms of "conference.jabber.org" (I'm registered there) and not the chat rooms of the server where I want to connect to (e.g. "conference.ubuntu-jabber.de").
So I'm not able to join some chat rooms.

Thanks for your bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug has to deal wtih gabble. Before we can go forward and get this in the correct hands we need to know the version of Ubuntu you are using as well as the version of telepathy gabble. please paste the output of the following commands into this bug 'apt-cache policy telepathy-gabble' 'uname -a'

This bug appears in Ubuntu 9.04 with "http://ppa.launchpad.net/telepathy/ppa/ubuntu" enabled (Linux cumputer 2.6.28-15-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 18 19:25:34 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux).
The bug also appears in Ubuntu 9.10 alpha4 (i386 Live-CD).

@Stefan Richter, When the info requested has been provided, you can reset the status back to new yourself.
To change the status of the bug report you can click on the current status, under the Status column, and change the Status back to "New".
