I've searched for resolutions and tried the various Codecs that were provided but none seem to work. This issue effect the video option for both Yahoo and Google Talk.

Hello. Have you had this feature working in empathy at some point before? As far as I can see, as per http://live.gnome.org/Empathy/FAQ#For_which_protocols_does_Empathy_support_audio_and_video_chat.3F and my testing, empathy does not support video chat with Yahoo. Video chat should work with Gtalk though, so if that's not working for you that may be a separate issue.

It has not worked previously for Yahoo or for Gtalk. I will have to look into it further.

Did a little more research and empathy accesses Yahoo messenger through telepathy-haze, which is a front-end for libpurple from the pidgin messenger project. The lack of video support through that is a known point of discussion with the developers, so I am going to recommend this bug be set to wish list. Thanks again for your bug report, if you find you are having problems with video chat in GTalk I would open a new bug on that, as video chat should work for Google Talk (XMPP).
