Open a new terminator window. It has the standard resolution 80x24.
Press F11 and then press F11 again.
The resolution is now reduced to 79x23 which may be impractical and annoying.

Do you have geometry hints turned on? I can see this behaviour if I startup with hints on, and do the F11 shuffle. Curiously if I then resize the window to 80x24, and repeat the F11 shuffle, the problem goes away.

Yes, the Window geometry hints were turned on (it is the default) and, exactly as you write, turning off the option helped. Thanks.
