SEND_KEYS conflicts with Blender

Somehow after using SEND_KEYS to use the shortcut that changes workspace or the one that shows all windows, Blender stops receiving some input from mouse and keyboard. But if I press the shortcut keys on the keyboard (without using gestures on touchpad) there's no error.
